Dakota 38 +2 Ride 2012

Today we stared early, with breakfast at city hall. The Dakota Oyate here have really been taking good care of us and feeding us so well!

The thermometer read zero, so we bundled up for what would be a really cold ride!
After breakfast, we went to round up the horses. There are about 50 horses here right now, and the group, as well as the people joining the ride, are growing everyday. I remember last year, there were many horses and riders that rode into Mankato on the 26th. I can't believe I am here for it early!

Today we only rode 10 miles, and I rode the last 5. My husband Matt has two favorite horses here, Socks and War Dancer, both owned by Chief Arvol Looking Horse. Matt rode Socks the first 5 miles, and then jumped on someone else's horse and gave me Socks. Socks is a big boy, part Percheron, and sitting on him is like sitting on a couch. So comfy! We trotted most of the 5 miles, and there were times when I rode beside the Chief. I was in my own world, however, singing a prayer song with tears streaming down my face the whole way. What an honor it was to be there, riding for the 38 +2 who have come to mean so much to me.

The ride ended much too soon, and we circled up and sang a prayer song before we trailered the horses back to the farm they are staying at.

Tomorrow is an off day, so we will be back out on Sunday. I really am looking forward to riding again. The time that I rode Socks was magical for me. And as I rode beside the Chief and among the people, I had an overwhelming sense of belonging like I have never felt before. This is a ride for healing and reconciliation, and I really felt a healing pass through me as Socks and I trotted through the streets of Redwood Falls. So blessed!

A December to Remember!

Wow! So much is happening, it is hard to keep up! As promised, here is the run down on the rest of the fall tour:

After West Point, we ventured off to Mankato, Minnesota. In my book, this town is called Mocassin Flats, but whatever it's called, it is the place where the Dakota 38 were hanged 150 years ago. I was honored to be invited to the wacipi (powwow) up there, so we set off north a week after Westpoint.

I was welcomed by Jim and Cindy Engel, and many others who had heard of the book. I was so excited to meet some of the descendants of the 38 while there, along with towns people who had never even heard of the Great Sioux Uprising. I was happy to tell them what I knew, and through that, most of them bought books!

Matt was asked to speak while there, so he led songs and told
stories to the college kids, who also had no clue what the
Dakota went through all those years ago. It is important to know
where we've been, so we can navigate where we are going.

October promised lots of other cool moments, too.

We soon headed to Texas for Thundering Hooves, and
met some really great people there, too. Neta and Darryl Rhyne are two of the most incredible people I have ever known. Their passion for saving slaughter bound horses is boundless.
We met horses that were saved from slaughter
and also some great musicians, Micki Free for one, who asked me up on stage to sing with him. I found him to be a great personality, who was as professional as he was personable.

Next was Richmond, KY powwow, where I met lots of amazing people and also surprised Matt with new wedding bands!

We also had a chance to hang out with Arvel Bird, the great Celtic musician who wowed the crowd and helped out with a Happy Birthday song for Matt.

December 1, we were guests at Light the sky with Animals' Angels. It was hosted by Toyahvale, TX. and Neta and Darryl Rhyne, those two incredible people from Thundering Hooves. Again, we were so humbled and honored to take part in that event. Light the Sky is the yearly honoring of all the animals who have suffered and gone over the rainbow bridge to the spirit world.

We lit thousands of candles to "Light the Sky" of the highway that slaughter bound horses travel everyday on their way to Presidio, TX. Our hope is that the horses will feel the message of love for them as they pass by this place - the last leg of their journey to death. It was a sobering time, and yet so incredible to be a part of it.

We again ran into our friend Micki Free, and had a great visit with many of our other new friends that we met at Thundering Hooves. I am happy to share that I will be part of a tour in the future that raises awareness to the slaughter bound equine and the horrific conditions the horses are subjected to. I have written a song for Animals' Angels that will be released on iTunes soon. More on that later.

This has been an incredible journey, and its not done. To close out 2012, I will be riding in the Dakota 38 ride for healing and reconciliation this year. It's so incredible to be a part of this ride – it's like Scattered Leaves: The Legend of Ghostkiller and the spirits that helped me write it have brought me full circle. I'll begin in Redwood Falls and end in Mankato (Moccasin Flats,) which is the opposite direction that Nina went while looking for Kyle in the book. Just like the book, I will be looking for Matt who is already on the ride – if we go through the portal, don't bother looking for us! Just know we went back in time to change history!

For more information about the Dakota 38 ride, you can watch the Dakota 38 documentary for free, online. It's an incredible journey of one man's vision to bring unity and healing to the Dakota people.

Stay tuned for pictures and I'll be blogging about the Dakota 38 ride as it happens, right here starting December 20, 2012.

Til next time, I wish you love, peace and frybread grease and a big 'ol Merry Christmas!

Book Tour Diary Entry

Good heavens! I realized this morning that in all the flurry of this book tour, I have not blogged in almost 4 weeks! Apologies, dear readers. I am back from my tour and have lots to share, so much in fact, that I am going to have to break it down into several posts. I hope you'll stay tuned for what looks like posts that will span a few weeks.

First stop was a day at the International World Fest in beautiful downtown Louisville, KY. I met so many people there and had a great time learning about new customs and foods. Matt and I tasted the difference between Coca-Cola made here in the good old US of A and the stuff made in Mexico - BIG difference in taste due to the fact that they don't use high-fructose corn syrup in Mexico. I'm not a coke drinker myself, but Matt loves the stuff. Mexico, here we come!

I sold a few books here, but more importantly, we came to support our Native family who were performing here at the indigenous tent. (Pics of their performance were posted to my Facebook page and are no longer on my phone to post here!)

I also met some important people who will be instrumental in future filming here in this state. Very excited about that!

    World Fest 2012, Louisville, KY

Outdoor dining at its finest!

The actual book tour started on September 15th, with a trip to Westpoint, KY. where I set up at Westpoint River Days, a fabulous small-town event full of re-enactors, carnival rides, a parade, food, and fun. I met new friends and visited with old ones there, as well!

I debuted my new banner here and it looks great.
I must admit, it was pretty weird seeing my name on a huge banner. Typically, I'm not one for putting myself out there like that, but I know if I want to be successful at this, I'm going to have to!

Well, that's all for now. I'll be posting again soon with the next leg of the trip, which was Mankato, MN., home of the Dakota 38, and also the fictitious town of Moccasin Flats from my novel "Scattered Leaves: The Legend of Ghostkiller."

Til next time, have a great week and always remember, life ain't life without love, peace and frybread grease!

Four Days

Here I go! The tour started last weekend with a local venue. We had a fabulous time at West Point, KY. and look forward to next year.

The town of Moccasin Flats in the book is a real town named Mankato, MN. This weekend I am going to Mankato. I am humbled beyond words to have been invited to take part in the commemorative powwow taking place this weekend in Memory Park. One hundred and fifty years ago at this very moment, the uprising was taking place. Innocent people died in that place, white and Indian. I am hopeful that someone will be gracious enough to take us around to the actual battle sites. I feel a really strong connection to this place and, since I wrote about it, I need to see it. Not just for myself; when I say the spirits have a story to tell, I mean they are still telling it. Now to go see what they have shown me in the flesh.

It will be hard. I know because I've already been there twice, but my visits were fleeting - only 24 hours or less. This time, I will be there for four days. FOUR DAYS, a sacred number. Four days to meet the families. Four days to go to the places they have shown me, to put tobacco down for all those who lost their lives. Four days to feel those who are still there to stand in the place where they spent their last night...

I pray with each breath that I have done well with this book, that the remaining families who I will meet will be pleased and say that I have shown honor to their relatives. I pray these things because this means something to them. These are their relatives who lost their lives trying to save their land, trying to feed their families. These men were cut down far too soon. The settlers who lost their lives were mostly innocent of any wrong doing. The healing that is taking place there is tangible. I felt it at the ride at Christmas last year. The town is trying hard to heal. I hope that I have been a help and not a hindrance. If only Kyle and the others could really go back and stop it before anyone died. If only.

So it is with this post, I leave you with one thought: Pray for healing for all. If the most powerful thing we have inside of us is the power of love, send it out. To those living and to ones who have passed. Take the energy and project positive. It is the only way to bring peace.

Til next time I wish you love, peace and frybread grease!

Happy September!

Can you believe it's September already? I can't. It seems the summer has flown by and has brought us one day closer to December 21, 2012 - the end! LOL I don't really believe in all that stuff and in fact, I am already booking book tour dates in 2013!

Hardcover is now available!

Hello friends of The Ghostkiller Trilogy!

Just a quick note to tell you that the hardcover edition of Scattered Leaves: The Legend of Ghostkiller is now available. It has a new cover and even features Kyle atop Macedone on the back cover.

People have been asking, and so I decided to put the book out there through Lulu, the only place that hardcovers are available for us self-published authors.

The Kindle version has gone #1 on Amazon, in the US and the UK, in different genres. Doesn't matter to me, as long as people are enjoying the story, which apparently they ARE!

I am still working on the sequel, as well as the book of poetry that is due out in October. I am also recruiting a few author friends to contribute to a book of short stories for next year; so much to do!
All of these books will be published through my new company called Why Must I Chase the Cat Publications LLC.  Information will be forthcoming on the website soon.

Hope you are enjoying the rest of your summer!

Til next time, love, peace and frybread grease!

Free EBook Giveaway!

Hello friends of Scattered Leaves!

I am happy to announce a freebie on the Amazon site; the first book in the Ghostkiller Trilogy is free August 23 -24 in eBook format.  Take advantage of this free opportunity to read Scattered Leaves: The Legend of Ghostkiller, the story based on the Ghostkiller movie. And to sweeten the pot, Johnny Depp was gifted this book on his birthday and he has spent his down time on the Lone Ranger set reading it. (How lucky am I to have such great friends who know celebs?)

There is a role in the book that I am hoping Johnny will love and want to play in the movie. His name is Mason Crow Walker and I've found a picture of Johnny that is similar to the Mason in my mind. Keeping my fingers crossed!

Follow this link to get your free copy of the eBook. Offer ends Friday, August 24 at midnight.

Happy reading!

Happy August!

Hello Blogger friends!

I hope this finds you all doing well and enjoying what is left of summer. Where I live, the last few nights have been cool, and the extreme heat we experienced last month is gone, thank goodness! Looking forward now to fall, and the blessed cool days and changing leaves :)

My book tour starts next month and I am very excited about meeting many of the fans who have written to me!

As I may have mentioned before, I am honored to have been invited to the Mahkato Wacipi (powwow) being held next month in Minnesota.

I am really looking forward to that, as well as the Richmond powwow in Lexington, where Arvel Bird is scheduled to play this year. He is one of my fav Native American musicians and puts on one helluva show. Check him out if you get a chance!

Also, Thundering Hooves is an event near and dear to my heart. We are raising awareness to the horse and burro slaughter that continues in West Texas. I look forward to being part of this event and helping in any way I can to stop this madness!

Please see the tour page on my site for times and locations for all these events.

The book, "Scattered Leaves: The Legend of Ghostkiller" has a new look. I changed the font on the front and back cover so that it is easier to read. It is available now for those who still have not read it. Also, another freebie is coming up for the Kindle version. Watch here for the news or sign up on my email newsletter to be informed. Don't worry, I don't spam you on this list! There is upcoming news regarding the sequel, "Beyond the Legend," and also news about the poetry book, "After the Glitter Fades," co-written with my deceased mother, that I will share.

I wish I could reveal the most recent news concerning the movie version. Aside from mentioning the Facebook page, Ghostkiller Movie, there isn't anything I can tell you just yet. It has been a long, long road, but we are making huge strides now. I have learned many lessons, most the hard way, but I am well on my way to making this dream a reality! Johnny Depp is involved in this news of mine, but you'll just have to stay tuned, or sign up for my email newsletter to get the inside scoop as I don't reveal many details in this blog!

Hope the remainder of the summer is great for you. Till next time I wish you love, peace and frybread grease!

Summer Solstice and things are HOT!

Happy Summer Solstice!

I hope your summer is going great so far! I am excited to update you all on some of the new stuff going on with the book AND give an awesome tip to help build your internet web presence.

First up, Johnny Depp received my book for his birthday on the set of the Lone Ranger - how cool is that! When handed the book, he said "That's bassass man, thanks!" I wrote inside that I saw him in the role of Mason Crow Walker; I hope he falls in love with the story and wants to play him. Johnny has his own production company, so he has the power to star and produce the film. Keep your fingers crossed that the Ghostkiller bug bites him. As an unknown, it would be really hard for me to get this book to him otherwise, so I thank God for my friend who is helping me. I am super excited, as you can imagine!

Onto other news, I have implemented a new way to blog, which I am experimenting with as of today. This tip will come in handy for anyone who is super busy and does not have time to post to all the sites you are on.

There's a website called IFTTT - If This Then That. At this site, you can create "recipes" that fire off certain actions on many of your pages. For instance, when someone adds me on Twitter, this site fires off a new tweet of thanks to the person for me. It also will thank tweeters for mentioning me in a comment or for re-tweeting my tweets. It's all about networking and this is a great way to keep in touch with all the people you are meeting on Twitter. Now, just imagine what you can do with it on Facebook, not to mention all the others sites out there. You can really build a great platform using the IFTTT site and getting yourself out there to the masses. I hope this tip is helpful to you.

In other news, off we go on a book tour! Click here for the dates. It's so funny how things have opened up for me this past year. I am so blessed to have great friends and business associates who know the importance of working together and networking to get ahead in this business and to help each other. So awesome!

So, that's all for now. Please remember to sign up on the mailing list to get updates you wont see here!

Til next time, love, peace and frybread grease!

Happy May!

Hello Blogger friends!

I am home from my fabulous 2 - week vacation (who said I don't take vacations?) and had an absolute blast!

We started in Colorado, as you may remember from my last blog. The sights and sounds of the west have always been near and dear to my heart, and going out there was like a homecoming for me!
Me at the Spanish Peaks in Colorado

There's no way that the pictures can
possibly capture the beauty of the land out there. You have to have the smells and the warm breezes, the birds and other creatures milling around to get a full taste of the areas we visited. It was just gorgeous. We hope to return in June and I can't wait! I had a major break through in Colorado with the sequel to The Legend of Ghostkiller. It blew me away how the spirits took over my writing (you'd think I'd be used to that by now) and guided the meat of the plot some place I would have never thought of going. Amazing! Scattered Leaves: Beyond the Legend will be released in October 2012, if all goes well.

"The Pit" in Albuquerque, NM.
Our next stop was Albuquerque, my old stomping grounds. We went to Gathering of Nations powwow and what an event that was! We've never seen so many Indians in one place! It was just incredible! I will have a booth there next year, and will be selling BOTH books there.

The dancers were there in incredible numbers and we had so much fun just hanging out. It was weird not being involved somehow, as we are both singers and knew most of the songs LOL We got massages, frybread and met all kinds of people.
Gathering of Nations 2012

One of those being, David Behrens, the artist who painted the Founding Fathers painting on my book cover. What an  incredible and gracious soul he is. We agreed to meet at his shop the next day. Next, we ventured out to the stage area where we heard a band playing that was just rockin' like crazy. I didn't catch their name, but they were really grinding those guitars and were just giving it all they had. I've never seen Indians rock so hard in my life! What a trip!

Matt and me on top of Sandia Peak, Albuquerque, NM.

Next morning, we traveled to the top of Sandia Peak. What a view! I am afraid of heights, but it was a thrill being up there! My husband, who is always ready for an adventure, took an old dirt road on the way back down the mountain where we met some Indians near a stream. They invited us to their ceremony on the San Felipe rez.. There are no pics for that trip, as photos are not allowed. I wouldn't have taken any anyway, as picture taking during ceremony is not something we as Dakota practice anyway.

David Behrens
We made our way to David's shop, Painted Sky Gallery and Gifts, in Old Town. His eyes really lit up when he saw this new cover. It is pretty awesome! The visit was incredible and to top it all off, he showed me a painting of the Trail of Tears, the subject of the sequel. He agreed to let me use it for the book cover and also, shared another vision of a new painting, as yet to be painted, that will work for the third and final book in the Ghostkiller Trilogy. He also mentioned selling the books in his store! This is something we had discussed in the past, but actually meeting him and discussing it was much better than a phone call. I also think that seeing the book was the clincher. It really is a beautiful book!

Me with Wes Trudell, this is his "stoic look" he said haha

We met up with Wes Trudell, an actor friend who has been one of my cheerleaders since 2007. Wes, Adam Gonzalez, David Behrens and Billy Mallery have all been some of my greatest supporters in the book and movie endeavor since Day One, way back in 2006/2007 when I first began this journey of book publishing and film. Wes was a delight and Matt and I both enjoyed spending time with him. We swapped stories about the ups and downs in the movie business and just had a great visit. He is working on the set of the Lone Ranger with Johnny Depp right now. We weren't able to go to the set, but he is giving Johnny a book for me. I'd love to see Johnny play Mason Crow Walker! We'll see!

On our last day there, we went horseback riding with Adam Gonzalez in the mountains, and THAT was a blast! As I said, Adam is one of my biggest supporters and it was a treat to meet him in person.

He has the  greatest personality and is such a people person. Matt had a ball riding a horse that William Shatner rode last year named Cadillac LOL! I was on Pistol Pete, who is also a people person! LOL!

The mountains are such an inspiration and Matt had never been west of the Rocky's before, so it was a special treat to experience that with him. We ate at a cool restaurant named Cowgirl, a hip joint with the best burgers I've ever had. All in all, we really enjoyed ourselves and I actually lost 4 lbs. while we were gone!

Well, that's all for now, friends. Look for updates about the sequel soon. Scattered Leaves: Beyond the Legend, and if you haven't already done so, sign up on the mailing list for more details about my trip and also movie news that will not be posted here.

I hope you enjoyed my travel blog LOL Til next time, I wish you love, peace and frybread grease!!

Rocky Mountain High!

Hello again blogger fans,

I am writing this today from a hotel room in Colorado. Out my window, I see beautiful snow-capped mountains, and am enjoying a much needed break from my hectic life.

I am hole-up in a hotel room today, writing like mad. The second book in
The Ghostkiller Trilogy is coming along and I am very happy with its progress. This trip was just what I needed to move the book another step closer towards publication! I am very excited to be where I am in my career, and look forward to all the wonderful opportunities that are presenting themselves to me now.

There are two new reviews up on the Review Blog. Scattered Leaves is up to 13 five-star reviews now! Not bad for a 5 month run.

In other news, the hubby and I will be at the Gathering of Nations powwow this weekend. I am super excited! While in Albuquerque, I will be meeting with several actors who have been with me from day one with the movie. Can't wait to finally meet them face to face. I will, of course, post pictures!

Til next time, I send you love, peace and frybread grease to one and all!

Happy April!

Happy April, Happy Monday!

Today, my work is cut out for me. Got lots on my plate and not enough time to do it all, but I know everyone reading this says the same thing!

This past weekend I spent a lot of time researching pages for authors and today I wanna share them with you. I do have a lot of authors who frequent my blog, and like to give a heads up when I find something that will help plug your books, so here we go. I just posted this on my Facebook page:
The first 5 chapters of "Scattered Leaves: The Legend of Ghostkiller" are posted on Wattpad. Please go and vote for me there and become a fan if you like! Really pushing the book these days, gearing up for another FREE day for the eBook (last one) and also getting things ready for my poetry book that is almost ready to launch. It features my mother's poetry as well as my own, called "After the Glitter Fades- Wartime Poems and Other Musings." Hope you love it! Here's the link to Wattpad - if you've wondered what Scattered Leaves was all about, now's your chance to review it! ♥
http://www.wattpad.com/story/1131929-scattered-leaves-the-legend-of-ghostkiller-chapter
Posting a few pages of your book for free is a great way to broaden your audience. People love free stuff, so giving away the eBook is another. I have found writing coaches who give away free advice that is actually GOOD advice and not just a scam to get you to buy their books. The writing community on the Internet is wonderful and there are lots of ways to better yourself and your writing out there just waiting for you to discover it! For instance:

This Wattpad site is really great and I am enjoying finding my way around. There is also a site I discovered called Freado that is great for authors, too. It offers a 'lite' version that is free. It allows you to create widgets, email signatures and the like, and a flip book to embed on your site that's really cool.

I have found that marketing is the hardest part of being self-published, but also that authors who sign with "the big six" have to do their own marketing, too. It's not too hard to find advice from them on the Internet, either. Just Google your favorite author and chances are, you'll find something that will help your journey along from them, as well.

So, it's short and sweet today, friends. I am busy with so much writing, I can hardly keep up! I think I have like 8 blogs now I am doing, plus 3 books! Most blogs are not launched yet, but when they are I'll post it here and on my mailing list.

Have a great week!

Best,
Lynny Prince

Hollywood.....oh, the possibilities!

I am asked all the time how I managed to option my book, Scattered Leaves: The Legend of Ghostkiller, to Hollywood and to answer that question is best done in just one little word: Networking!

I have run through the full gamut of bullshitters over the past 4 years. Those "professionals" who are really sharks in disguise, only to be disappointed time and time again. In the case of my latest option deal, (a legit one) I met this producer through a mutual friend of a friend. You just can't have too many friends and who they know are only a few hello's away from you.

I have read that you are only 6 degrees away from meeting anyone in the world. Someone you know, knows someone who knows someone who knows the person of interest. You get the idea. My problem in the past was putting my trust into people with no attorney present, a mistake that will never happen again. What I was left with was empty promises, nothing accomplished, and wasted time.

This time around, I am blessed to be dealing with real professionals who know their way around Hollywood and who also are eager to keep the story intact as much as possible. There are a few really great changes that make it dynamic and exciting. I just can't wait to share it with you all!

For now, I will share with you an article that points out a few things to keep in mind while researching an option deal. I found this very informative and oh so true, at least in my experience, anyway.
It seems simple, but unless you know the basics, you're in for a nightmare of a time. Just a small amount of educating yourself can save you a lot of heartache. I know!

Thanks to all who downloaded the eBook. The final count was nearly 2000 downloads in 24 hours-not bad!

I am hopeful that this will boost book sales and will let you know if it does. Lots of authors I've spoken with have told me it was the best thing they ever did!

Til then, look for more posts soon! I have two new blogs I am preparing to launch soon!

FREE eBOOK NOW!

Hi everyone!

The FREE offer for the eBook, "Scattered Leaves: The Legend of Ghostkiller" is going great! As of this writing, here are the stats:

Amazon Best Sellers Rank: #188 Free in Kindle Store (See Top 100 Free in Kindle Store)
#9 in Kindle Store > Kindle eBooks > Fiction > Genre Fiction > Historical
#11 in Kindle Store > Kindle eBooks > Fiction > Genre Fiction > Mystery & Thrillers > Thrillers > Suspense

This will do great things for sales of the book, THAT'S why you give it away for a day! Also, I am looking for new reviews. The more reviews the book gets, the higher the rankings go, so I'm hopeful this will work for that, as well.

It is also my hope that by the end of this free offer, the book will be in the top 100 downloaded books on Kindle. It happened in January when I ran a freebie, but that was a 3-day binge.....curious to see what one day will do!

GO GET YOURS NOW! Offer ends at midnight tonight!

Happy reading everyone! And PLEASE pass this on to those you know with a Kindle!

FREE eBOOK AT MIDNIGHT!!!!

Hello Scattered Leaves and Kindle fans!

If you love your Kindle and eBooks, have I got news for you! Through a special paranormal book giveaway, you can go get Scattered Leaves: The Legend of Ghostkiller beginning tonight (March 1) at midnight for FREE on Amazon! This deal only lasts for 24 hours, so don't miss out!

Why am I giving away the eBook? Because I would like more REVIEWS! I have nine 5-star reviews on Amazon now, but would like to add to that list. (They don't have to be 5-stars, either! I want your honest opinion!)

I am posting all reviews on my website and on the new Review Blog, so good or bad, I want to hear what you think of the book.

Go get your FREE COPY and be sure to forward this info to all your friends who own a Kindle!

Thanks so much for your continued support! I would be no where without my loyal fans!

What's new, Lynny, and just where have you been?

Hello SL fans!

I know I've been on the lamb, but I am so busy I actually pass myself leaving when I get home at night. COnFuSed? Me too. But never fear, here is your update!

First, the permanent author page on Amazon is up:

This will make it easier for people to find me and my books. Yes, that is plural. I am hard at work on THREE books right now, and hope to have them all available by June 2012. I will, of course, post it here first.

First up is the book of poetry that I am co-writing with my mother. She passed away in 2007, but her beautiful poetry lives on and will forever be ingrained in this book titled, "After the Glitter Fades."

The next book I have in my sites is titled, "An Open Letter to My Sexual Abuser." The title speaks for itself. It will be filled with letters from victims who will share their pain with others who have suffered as they have. I have three letters I personally wrote, and no, I'm not ashmed to announce it here to the world. I believe this book is needed and will serve as an outlet for those who need to anonymously express themselves in this way. I am very excited about both of these books and will be sure to update you when they are in the chute.

I am still working on the sequel to SL, (Beyond the Legend) but may have to push that release date back again. It's getting there, but I won't rush it just for the sake of getting it out. I will not disappoint you with a book that was rushed and not spiritually inspired. Its not fair to you or to the spirits who are working with me.

In other news, I have new web pages for my new publishing company, (Why Must I Chase The Cat Publications) a Cherokee genealogy blog and a site that will offer advertising to self-published authors to post links to their pages for a small fee.

I will be announcing another FREE DAY for the eBook of Scattered Leaves: The Legend of Ghostkiller, and soon. My sales skyrocketed when I had two free days in January and I will be doing it again in March, so stay tuned.

I have lots of irons in the fire and will be bringing all of these things to you in the near future. All this while babysitting grand kids full-time while my daughter goes to school! Yes, I SHOULD blog about how I juggle it all, and might just do that, too!

Be sure to sign up on my mailing list to be updated on these and all other updates. I am on the brink of a HUGE announcement with the film (Ghostkiller) and always update my fans via newsletter first, so don't miss out!

Well, that's all for now. Feel free to write me anytime and always remember: You can accomplish ANYTHING if you put your mind to it and trust in the CREATOR!

Til next time,

Blog, blog, blog....

Hi blogger friends,

I am writing today just to let you know that the free offer for the eBook Scattered Leaves: The Legend of Ghostkiller has ended and the Kindle edition is for sale at its regular price once more.  It was so great watching it climb the charts and I feel sure that little publicity stunt will sell more books overall.  I sure hope so!

There are things moving in the world of movie making and I hope to be able to spill my guts about it soon, but for now, be aware that things are moving in the right direction. I have accomplished more in the past 8 months alone than I ever did working with anyone else, and for that I am proud as punch! I have a whole team working with me now that are helping to bring my Ghostkiller brand to you, so don't worry, wheels are turning.

I promised a lengthily blog about my company, but not in this blog. Soon, my little pretties, soon.

I am sending out my new years message in the next few days, so if you haven't signed up for my e-mail newsletter yet, please do so. There are things revealed to my subscribers that are not revealed online anywhere, so don't  miss out!

For now, I hope you are enjoying your new year and are keeping those resolutions. Always remember, if you put your mind to it, you can accomplish anything. I'm living proof!

Til next time,
