Corona Virus Updates

Hi Everyone,

I hope this blog post finds you and your family well during this crisis. Today I am sharing just a few thoughts on what I've observed over the course of the past few weeks.

When all this started with the Coronavirus, it was early, early spring. After a mild winter, everyone was looking forward to even warmer weather, including plants and animals. They seemed timid at first, unsure due to the possibility of freezing cold and snow, but it never came. Slowly, I watched them emerge; first the birds, then the squirrels, then the bugs.

As the virus ramped up, I noticed the buds on the trees and the flowers sprouting, and the animals seemed to become more excited with the prospect of renewed life. I watched this from my porch. Every day that passed with more and more talk of this pandemic and it's grasp on humanity I noticed something: Nature did not quarantine. Life was emerging. Life was being lived despite the danger humans were facing. The plants and animals were business as usual and it dawned on me that nature indeed can and will go on without us. It will even be better off. The skies are clearing, the Earth is heaving a sigh of relief as our footprints upon her are treading lightly now instead of the furious and demanding stomps of a child throwing a tantrum which had become the human race before this pandemic took hold.

When I read the piece below this morning, it resonated deep within me. I'm sure it will with some of you, too. YOU ARE LOVED

We fell asleep in one world and woke up in another.
Suddenly Disney is out of magic, Paris is no longer romantic, New York doesn't stand up anymore, the Chinese wall is no longer a fortress, and Mecca is empty.
Hugs & kisses suddenly become weapons, and not visiting parents & friends becomes an act of love. Suddenly you realize that power, beauty & money are worthless, and can't buy you the oxygen you're fighting for.
The world continues its life and it is beautiful.
It only puts humans in cages.
I think it's sending us a message: "You are not necessary. The air, earth, water, and sky without you are fine. When you come back, remember that you are my guests. Not my masters." -Anonymous

I hope we all come back together better than we were before this happened.
I wish you all good health, peace, and above all, love.
~Lynny
